me. It's also Thursday, which means mystery is on the way come 12 o'clock, acts of God, not with

standing. That's a funny thing, isn't it? What's in a name? Just noticed that the fishing

skipper, the fishing boat skipper who behaved, I mean, truly the best

of us, people like this, Raymond Strachan, rescuing refugees from the waters of the channel

where we know that Fort died. The same name as the gentleman who rang in yesterday, essentially,

not through no fault of his own, essentially just regurgitating the vile right-wing lines that are usually offered

up when it comes to people trying to cross the English Channel. We'll probably return to that

story after 11 o'clock. Because something struck me yesterday, while Suella Braverman was using

her supposed statement of condolence to trumpet policies designed to delight the kind of people that celebrated yesterday's deaths. How can, actually, I can't claim the credit for this. My mate, Gary made this observation. How can you go from describing them as invaders, as in enemies,

to expressing heartfelt sympathy over their failure to invade? Have a little think about that.

It's a tricky question, right? Quite troubling. Suella Braverman, currently in very grave danger

of making Pretty Patel look like Mother Teresa. But the question stands.

How can you feel heartfelt sympathy if the people you consider to be invaders fail to, quote, invade, end quote.

So we'll get on to that a little later in the program.
