The James Webb Space Telescope is giving us revolutionary new information about the universe.

To begin this story, let's take a very short trip in our time machine.

Now we've put some miles on the old Curious Universe time machine.

We've taken it back billions of years all the way to the Big Bang and the beginning of everything.

Well, not this time.

We're heading back just three short years.

This is the day we get the first science images back from the James Webb Space Telescope,

and you've got a front row seat to the cosmos.

It's July 2022.

After 25 years of development, construction, testing, and finally launch, the James Webb

Space Telescope is gazing out at the universe, and NASA scientists are revealing its images

for the very first time.

And so now we're going to, let's do it.
