I love the church because Christ loved the church.

And he loved it enough to give his blood for it.

It's the only institution Jesus ever built.

And the only one he ever promised to bless,

the church triumph and will occupy

the glories of eternal heaven,

and the price inestimable,

beyond belief, that's how precious the church is.

Perhaps you know a professing Christian who says,

might go to church if it wasn't for all the hypocrites.

Or maybe a member of a local church has mistreated you

or criticized you or even lied to you.

Sadly, that happens.

People in churches don't always act like, well, Christians.

So that raises the question,

can you follow Christ and not be part of a church?
