why do we fight?

Professionally, I mean,

what makes someone want to walk into a ring and hit somebody else?

Okay. and hit somebody else. Choose to take a punch. It was just the most vivid, one of the most vivid moments ever in my life.

This is Kate Seculees, a magazine editor, fiction writer, restaurant reviewer, and the last person who ever thought she'd find herself in a boxing ring.

First of all, we were incredibly mismatched.

She was two weight classes or more heavier.

She was six foot three, I'm five for eight.

Her reach was longer, much.

And also, she had a record of six and 0 in her professional career 3 by knockout.

Her manager was the promoter of the fight, so odds were loaded against me.
