I want to show you why celebrating a week outside in a handmade booth becomes the most unforgettable family tradition - without feeling like a chore.
We’re joined by community coaches Brent and Katie Kruithoff, who previously helped us learn to celebrate spring holidays like Passover and Pentecost. This time, they share how the fall Biblical festival of Sukkot became a unifying, joy-filled anchor for their family’s yearly rhythm.
We also unpack the beautiful theology behind Sukkot: dwelling outside reminds us that “this earth is not our home,” pointing our eyes to our true forever home with God in heaven.
Ready to reimagine how your family marks time? Tune in to be inspired, equipped, and excited to build traditions that echo into eternity - and learn how to start small, stay consistent, and celebrate big.

| 1:24.2 | congratulations, guys. Yeah. So, so Brent and Katie did such an incredible job helping us with the spring holidays. And I was like, okay, let's, that was so much fun. There was, I think there was such good feedback. A lot of people got to experience Passover and, and, um, Pentecost or Shaibo O to different, different elements of those that I just love the way that Brent and Katie have |
| 1:44.3 | really done us with their family and so we're like hey let's let's let's let's like you know |

So I'm going to dive into why we do this a little bit. I'm going to get, I want to kind of dialogue with Brent and Katie. And then I just, I'm really excited for you guys to hear just practically how to do this. So just a kind of big picture of the accelerator, every single month, we pick a theme and we drill deep into this theme to try to help you guys give you tools for how to build a multi-generational family team. And some of these tools are going to be like, whoa, that's awesome. Let's do that. And other tools, you'll be like, nope, we're going to pass that one. That's fine. We just want to give you guys lots of great tools to work with. And that's how we see these, these holidays. These are not things that we feel obligated to celebrate in order to keep the law. We believe Jesus perfectly kept the law when he came and he died on the cross. And so we have already perfectly kept all of the holidays. Good job, guys, everyone. You know, you're in Christ. You've kept the holidays. But it is really amazing to get |
| 2:56.5 | to experience them. You know, this is an option in the same way that you don't have to celebrate Christmas. |
