If you are listening to this that means it is either Independence Day or it's just around the corner.

Happy America to you. The goal of this special program each and every year is to celebrate but also

commemorate what it is we are acknowledging here this day. The reason for the season if you will.

Gentlemen if I ask the average American what does Independence Day mean to you?

Aaron you believe they would say what? They would probably say something like I still think there's

some sort of baseline knowledge that we were a long time ago declaring independence from something.

Maybe it doesn't go any deeper than that but I think there's a general knowledge that Independence Day

is America's independence from something. Todd what do you think most Americans would say average

man on the street? It would be something very Oprah like the freedom to be whatever you want to be.

And that's not nearly good enough but that's what it would be. Do you guys believe most Americans

will spend any time at all revisiting the founding traditions ideals that this day represents.

How many Americans do you think really will do that over the course of this holiday weekend etc?
