interview with Mark Cuban and he's talking to us about a new project of his called

cost plus drugs which is aimed at lowering the costs of prescription drugs.

As part of that conversation, I learned that a big part of the reason why

drugs are so expensive in the United States

is because we've made it difficult for basic market functions like prices to work the way they're supposed to.
