So this episode will be based on a post I wrote on Instagram recently, specifically talking about intuition and how a core hindrance to us following our intuition is often our ego's resistance to the intuition being true.

Now, the ego is really just a conglomeration of beliefs that tell you who you need to be in order to be safe and loved in the world. It gets developed from a very

early age and it is essentially designed to protect you. So if the ego perceives that following your

intuition will cause you to lose any safety or love, it's going to fight back.

It's going to try to convince you that it's not the right decision.

And this is why you often might feel like,

oh, something's pulling me in that direction,

but then the mind comes in and talks you out of it

and causes you to settle for something that's not quite right,

but feels safer.

And that's the key thing.

The ego can make you feel protected, but it will also suffocate the aliveness in you.

And so the path to reclaiming this aliveness,

reclaiming your life,

is the path of surrender,

the path of trust.

letting it melt your armor and seeing that you're still here.
