Summary

Bridget Phetasy is a prominent podcaster, YouTuber and writer in the heterodox (or, as she likes to call it, politically homeless) space. Jeren Montgomery is a family therapist and also Bridget's husband. As if Bridget didn't already have enough projects, last year the two started Factory Settings, a podcast that explores how built-in biases affect the way people consume information and form opinions. They visited The Unspeakable to talk about how their own settings affect their relationship and what they've discovered in the process of developing the podcast. They also describe how they met in recovery and explain how seeing the world through the lens of sobriety affects their approach to the subjects they cover. This is Bridget's third appearance on The Unspeakable, but it feels like the first time!
