It has to do with the fact he hasn't been cleared.

Now, yes, is there a point where one can be cleared and then the coach can make the decision to not start the player? Of course. I don't think DiMico Ryan is going to do that. I don't think that Mike Kafka is going to do that. But Mike Kafka was asked, did he have a stepback? Here is the answer from the head coach. any setback along the way? Like did he have to go back in the protocol like the steps

wise? I just I think the like the protocol is the for the doctors handle that protocol like I have

nothing to do with that. So and where he's at that all goes through the doctors, the independent

independent doctor as well. So they make those determinations

on where he's at. So what Mike Kaff is telling you is, I have no freaking idea. I don't know. I'm not

even going to lie to you. I don't know. Well, he'd been out at practice. So we know he's practiced,

but he hasn't had a contact practice and then had no symptoms following that full contact practice.

The challenge for a quarterback is what the hell is contact practice for a quarterback in the NFL?

Right, that doesn't even exist, right?
