Summary

In this episode of the Cold-Case Christianity Broadcast, J. Warner Wallace continues his series on the virgin conception of Jesus. If the virgin conception of Jesus really happened, why didn’t Mark or Paul say anything about it? Does their silence mean the virgin conception was a late idea added to the story of Jesus? Is there any good reason to believe Mark or Paul knew about the virgin conception, and if so, why didn’t they mention it?

made by skeptics related to the Virgin Conception. If you haven't been able to kind of see those yet,

claim that skeptics sometimes make when they doubt now to be to be honest, a lot of the doubt related to

1:12.6

the virgin conception is grounded in the kind of crazy claim that anything as supernatural as a

1:18.2

virgin conception could occur in the first place. If the claim was simply that Jesus was born

1:23.5

in downtown Detroit, well, that's probably too crazy. Let's say that Jesus was born in Jerusalem.

1:29.3

Well, nobody would be questioning that.

1:31.3

Why?

1:32.3

Because there's nothing supernatural about the location and birth of Jesus in Jerusalem.

1:36.3

But this is a very outlandish claim that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
