cursed oblast and have taken over territory and they're currently holding onto a gas station which supplies gas over into the EU.

The pipeline actually does run through Ukraine. We're going to be talking about that in the effects

that it is going to have on the EU as well as on Russia here in just a moment. But first,

let's talk about what this actually has looked like. There is tons of posts such as this one that's

currently up in the middle of the screen of Ukrainian soldiers going into different villages,

ripping down Russian flags and hanging their own and while they all make for great

great great motivation for the Ukrainian people the question is is what

effect is this going to have on the front line inside of the war that Russia started back in

2022 when they invaded Ukraine.

This article from the New York Post dated August 15th of 2024, so almost 24 hours after making this video.

It says that Ukrainian forces had seized control of the town of Sudza. I probably not even pronouncing that right.

And Zelensky, you know, obviously he went on and made a big speech about that and

they also capture around a hundred Russian soldiers as they were doing that.

Now, the nice thing about this particular town

is that it holds a measuring station

for Russian natural gas that goes through Ukraine

and eventually finds its way over to Europe.

But they are saying that there is no indication that the gas line has been shut off thus far.

So it's still functioning.

People inside of the EU said that they saw a dip, a tiny dip in it, but that it is still continuing to function and it's flowing just fine. It did cause a little bit of a price surge, okay, the other day, but other than that, no real effects have actually taken place.
