starting to develop after two days of mandatory practices on the fields behind Gillette Stadium.

one out. Listen to that if you haven't already. But we will talk about day two here, some trends

that we're seeing. Of course, we're going to check in with some of the young players, which young

players, first, second year guys, have the most on their plates. I think there's a name or two in there that may surprise you. And we're also going to talk to Jeff Grimes, Baylor, offensive coordinator, who's going to tell us all about Taekwuan Thornton, their time together. Some of the things that he likes about Taekwon Thornton's game, aside from his speed,

what he thinks about his frame and now how that will hold up at the next level,

what he heard from NFL clubs before the draft and where he thought Thornton may be selected.

It's a great conversation with Jeff Grimes.

They did a lot of different things with that Baylor offense.

He likes to think of his offense as a pro-style offense.

So I'm sure the Patriots are hoping that helps Thornton transition from the college game to the pro ranks.

All right, very happy to have with us now, Baylor Offense Coordinator, Jeff Grimes. Jeff,

obviously you had a chance to get to know and work with Tyquan Thornton, who a lot of Patriots fans have a lot of interest in right now, as you can imagine.

So I just want to ask you right off the bat, what kind of person are the Patriots getting in Tyquon Thornton, having spent the time with him that you did?

Man, Ty is one of my favorite kids.

You know, I've been here at Baylor a year, and one of the things I really grew to appreciate about Ty is just his honesty, his candor.

You know, I went through two situations with him where he could have been less than forthright or less than open with me.
