The next time the 49ers entire team steps on the field, it will be at the beginning of the long

grinded training camp heading into the season. Coach Kyle Shanahan decided to reward the team

for 100% attendance this week and the quality of work since the off-season program began.

The 49ers have canceled next week's

scheduled mandatory mini-camp. Now some of the players, including the rookies, will stick

around Santa Clara for a while, but the official off-season program has come to a conclusion.

Jennifer Lee Chan and I will discuss what we've seen during the practices and how the 49ers

are set up for the opening of training camp in late July.
