The Welcome to Faith is. I'm Pastor Rick Stevens, and this is the place where faith is absolute confidence in the trustworthiness of God.

It's the place where we stretch in God's direction.

This is the place where we nudge, push, cajole, challenge each other to trust God and to

stretch toward his high calling. Well, I'm the pastor of diplomat Wesleyan Church in Cape Coral, Florida,

a real church, like a lot of churches across the United States. We are full of real people.

We have our ups and downs like life is in general. And we press on because there's no reason not to.

We are going to continue to have confidence in God. We're going to continue to have faith and trust him. So I hope you'll

join us on the journey. Today we're going to talk about a few things. And I've kind of been on

this idea lately thinking a lot about the importance of us thinking like Christians. And so I want

to circle back and think about that a little bit

and and in relation to that talk a little bit about the struggles that the world is having

maybe particularly this country I'm not sure whether it's worse one place or another

but the problem of anti-Semitism and what we can do about that in our conversations

with each other. And of course, the whole world, I guess I should say the whole internet world

was brought up in flames over something that President Donald Trump posted earlier. And we

want to talk about that just a little bit.

I don't want to get too distracted by that.

Lots of people have been just over the top on that whole subject.

And we want to touch on immigration, and we remind ourselves to pray for the peace of Jerusalem,

and elections are coming, so we want to remind ourselves about that.

We've got a lot to talk about today.
