So we are in Raw Rumble season, my friends.

As we all know as wrestling fans, it is the best time to be into your sports entertainment because the Royal Rumble is just cool. You're going to get surprises. The big question is who should win the 2006 Raw Rumble? And I actually think it's quite a hard question to answer, unlike the couple of years previous, especially when Cody Rose was going for that championship, because you could just walk onto a video and go,

I think Cody should win. And even if you were a negative Nancy towards Mr. Rhodes, even you would have

to be like, well, I do understand what you're coming from, but I'm still going to rage about it online.

So what do we do in 2006? Well, there is one big name that I think you do have to throw into the hamper, which of course is Gunther. Like if he is going to retire Colberg in 2025 and then go on to retire John Cena, which he did do, it kind of feels like to me you should let a fire under his ass and go through every big accolade in 2026 and go, well, we need to give it to

Gunther, maybe we should give it to Gunther. Now the interesting part though is that if he is going to continue on his retirement tour, that could mean over the next 12 months, not only does he retire AJ Stiles, and that program has already started as I am talking to you, but now there's a rumor in the air that maybe who just maybe brought lessons going to be done in 2026, so Gunther could retire him as well. So I actually think about it, I'm like, if you were going to retire four of the biggest modern day and nostalgic stars of the last 20-so years, whatever the flub is going to be, do you actually need to win the Royal Rumble 2? That's what I have to divide myself down the centre, because part of me is like you absolutely should do that, and why the Flub not give him all the world titles too? And the other one is like, surely that is going to turn him into a tippily top star, and the best thing about WWE in the modern age is they have loads of tippily top stars, which means there's just enough glory to go around. in worth booking of the year territory. I think that is totally insane. One of the coolest

things about Jay Uso being the victor in the Royal Rumble is because it was unexpected and it took him and it put him right at the top of the card. Now you could argue whether it did work or you could say, oh my gosh, it didn't work out at all. I think Jay Uso is absolutely brilliant. But for goodness sake, isn't it nice to do something fresh even if it wasn't one of your guys? And I would say absolutely. So, you know, because we did do that, I'd imagine this year, Triple H is like, you know what, now we can go back to the well. That's why I think it's going to be Roman Reigns. Yep, that's right. No climax there whatsoever. I just threw it out into your face, which is not a euphemism. But this is me being steered by social media, which I shouldn't do. But ever since Seth Rollins got injured and people started to say,

well, I think it's going to be Cody Rhodes v. Roman Reigns Part 3. I looked off into the distance and I thought, you know what, if we are going to do that, the time is now, which is not meant to be a pun, because I don't think you can wait until 2007, given that by that point we should have new stars that go, oh, you need to face me now.

And also, of all the matches you could do at WrestleMania, that is one where I'd be like, well, who the hell is going to win this? Also, they are one-on-one, because you have WrestleMania 39 when Roman won. Then you had WrestleMania 40 when Cody finished his story, which rhymes, so it must be true. So now you have to decide who are you going to put

over here? Because at the moment, and you can see people yelling at each other once again online, it's like, Cody Rhodes in the face of the company. And other people like, no, Roman Reigns at the face of the company. I think it would be Cody just because he appears more than Roman, which is no shade to the real-life Joe Anuayi, more power to that guy to getting a deal where he is able to tell him as a when he chooses. I mean, go back through his life, both in the ring and outside of it, if anybody deserves a rest here and there, it's flipping Roman reigns. So I actually think if WW has decided to do this, you actually have quite a simple booking structure laid out in front of you. You have Roman Wains in the Royal Rumble, and this time he'll get the appropriate response, as opposed to what happened back in 2015 or 16, whenever the hell it was. And that can put him on a path to WrestleMania when we're just talking about Roman Rains, the tribal chief. He's the OTC. He's one of the best wrestlers ever. Oh my gosh, we all love Roman Raines.

But he gets to WrestleMania. He can actually lose and he can do a proper passing of the torch moment to Cody Rhodes. But that has a different video for a different day. But I do not think that's totally unheard of. And if it does end with them doing the big handshake, then you know that feud is done for good. And then Cody can run off and he could probably turn hill. Hell, maybe he turns hill right there and he boots Roman right in the balls. We all know that WWE loves moments. I also just think that Roman has now got to that period in his career, that nobody is going to mind this. Of course, we all remember what did happen a decade or so ago. So maybe actually the WW credit team has sat down and gone, well, A, he is a massive star so we could totally get away with it, but also B, much like we did do with John Cia in 2025,

because the opinion of this man has changed so much, we can finally give him his raw rumble moment

and it's going to make you feel warm and fussing your tum-tum as opposed to sending the rock out

there, be like, just please cheer the rock. We know you want to boo Ruhman, but would you please be nice to Dwayne Johnson? If you don't know what I'm talking about, just go and watch that rural rumble in Philadelphia. Even they went, we know what you're trying to do, WWE, and we're still going to boo. You can see it on the Rockface 2. Like, I've made a terrible, terrible mistake.

I also think with the final four, you could have loads of fun with this, because it is, let's say, Roman Raines or a Bronson Reed or a Bronnbreaker or a bunch of other people, probably a Chris Jericho, because again, I do think he will be in the Raw Rumble. just going to be able to create such an electric energy and no matter who is in there i truly

believe the crowd would be like, we love you, Roman Reigns. Even more so because it is in Saudi Arabia and because they only get a few shows a year, they rarely go against what WW wants them to do from a cheer boo perspective. So I am just going to say that WWE is going to give it to Roman Reigns, and Roman Reigns v. Cody Rhodes, part three, is such a mega match. Although there is the caveat that maybe Seth Rollins does rehab his injury, and the rumor once again says it meant to be Roman versus Seth at WrestleMania, but you don't need to rush that. And actually, what I would do is I would have Roman lose to Codyads at WrestleMania. People are so mad. I can hear it.

Then at SummerSlam, I do Roman Reigns versus Seth Rollins. I don't want to be that guy, but I'd have Seth Rollins win. I'm not going to leave. I don't want to be yelled at.
