going anywhere near it and this happened recently when a Hall of Fame that was

presented with a brand new narrative and turned it down and that got my brain

thinking because I remembered a grand total of

seven wrestlers who had also done this and you probably want to know why. Well

here's why. We will start with a person in question and it is of course Kurt Engel.

doing an interview recently he said he had been offered the opportunity to manage

Matt Riddle as he moved from NXT to Smackdown but he had gone to management and said,

while I do appreciate it, you've made me feel good inside, I have to turn you down.

And the biggest reason for this is surely because it makes absolutely no sense.

And don't get me wrong I love Kurt Engel and when you do go back to his career now

not only was he one of the most naturally gifted in-ring performers ever, but he also got all the behind-the-scene stuff or the character stuff as well.

I mean he turned up one day, wearing a tiny cowboy hat and playing the ukulele he did not take himself seriously even though he was super

serious in the squared circle it was damn perfect but I think even he knew that

managing riddle would have been a waste of time because Matt Riddle doesn't need a manager.

He is one of the few people on the W roster right now that just has that weird magic
