We're living in this amazing time when evil is doing a lot and God is doing more.

And so we are just grateful to see you. It's an honor to have you join us. And we're in a

sermon series in a book of the Bible called Hebrews. And so if you've got a Bible, we're in Hebrews

chapter 11. I'll set it up for you. Throughout the course of life, it's always good to find

some mentors, some people that are a little further down the road that have walked the path

you're on, and you can learn from their life both positive and negative examples. Hebrews 11 is,

in some regards, it's a list of mentors. It's a list of 16 different people from the Old Testament,

in addition to a category called the prophets.

And these are people that their faith and their walk with God, this is the language you'll see in Hebrews 11.

Their faith and their walk with God is an example for us and they can serve as mentors for us.
