BP is working to bring more lower carbon energy to the UK, like developing offshore wind,

and we're keeping oil and gas flowing from the North Sea. It's and not all. That's how BP is backing Britain. Well today we're mostly in oil and gas.

We increased the proportion of our global annual investment that went into our lower carbon and other transition businesses from around 23% in 2023.

In a country that's become used to protests and violence, to many Israelis, this felt different.

It felt like the start of a coup, a mob of far-right protesters,

edd on by members of the Israeli government, was storming an Israeli military base.

They were demanding the release of a group of Israeli soldiers who'd been arrested for

torturing Palestinian prisoners.

The soldiers in this country are a consensus. If they touch our soldiers will build a shield wall, the people

will draw us up against the government, be it left or right or whatever, nobody can touch

our soldiers. Israel is at a crossroads.
