So how would you describe the history of the Yankees Red Sox rivalry?

We have a lot of really good rival. the history of the Yankees Red Sox rivalry.

We have a lot of really good rivalries in sports.

And despite the fact that the Yankees and Red Sox

really both haven't been great at the same time for a while now.

I still think there's an argument to be made that it's the best rivalry in sports, that the fan bases hate each other as much if not more than any other

rivalry that we've seen and that, you know, as much as the balance schedule in Major League Baseball have taken away from those

rivalries a little bit because you get to see everyone I think on the contrary it makes them

even more special because there's history there and because there's context there and because all of the things that we love about sports, not just the moments that are happening right now, but the things that inform them

are their front and center when the Yankees and the Red Sox face off.

Isn't that kind of what sports rivalries

have devolved to these days?

It's most of the fan bases they can't stand each other, right?

They can't, but it's a great kind of can't stand each other, isn't it?

It's the sort where if a Yankee fan and a Red Sox fan are dating,

you wonder about the long-term viability of that relationship.

That's a fair comparison.

It's kind of concerned.

You know, because some mirrors counseling for that, I think.

Jeff, we know that you are more pro-routing for story lines, not teams here here but what are your favorite memories from the Boston Red Sox New York Yankees matchup?
