Hello again, everybody, and welcome to the Mike Francesa podcast, part of the BetRivers Network on this Friday.

Before we finish up, what is technically the first half of the baseball season, although we are way, way past that in terms of the volume of games.

Teams will have played anywhere from 96 to 98 games for the most part.

But you go into the break, you take a little assessment, you get a little time off,

you get to reassess things, you get to straighten things out.

And teams like to shape who they are.

And right now, both the Yankees and the Mets have spent this last week, kind of remodeling.

They're going to be active in the trade market.

We know that.

Okay.

It's going to be a big couple of weeks finishing up July. We know that.

Okay. But they've made some issues and some changes this past week. Now, the Mets were going to

try and see if they could just stop the bleeding and hold serve going into the all-stop break.

They've done that. The two games in Baltimore aside,

and the first one was a tough one to take. But they've done that. Now they're going to get

Senga back. Now they hope to get Manaya back. If they can get those guys back in the rotation,

they can, Peterson's back on the beam after yesterday. They can start to move forward.

They clearly need to bolster the bullpen.

So to a lot of teams.

So do the Yankees.

Met seriously need the bolster the bullpen in front of Diaz.
