Hey, welcome back to the Personality Hacker Podcast. My name is Joe Mark Witt.

And I'm Antonia Dodge.

Around the time when our daughter Piper was born, Antonia and I had just come off the heels of burning our lives to the ground

because we left our old religious paradigms, we had basically quit our different jobs,

and we had like restarted life in our early 30s.

Because of this we had run into some economic challenges and we were trying to build

personality hacker in the very very early days and we ended up, you know, beyond the

8-ball some months when we didn't have a lot of resource.

We had a new baby and Tonya was a brand new mother.

It was a very, very stressful and intense time when you have a new child and you're resetting your life.

So we went through a period of time where we were attempting to build a business all that, but

we had to rely upon government assistance in order to make ends meet each month.

It went through several months where we relied upon this government assistance here in the United States to help us get through some of those experiences.

It was a very, I'm very grateful.

There's a lot of blessing to be living in a country

where we have the ability for assistance when we need it.

The reason I bring this experience up and that there was a system put in place to accommodate

feeding people that weren't doing well and it was a structural system that had put in place,

assistance program that would aid people that weren't doing well on a structural level. It wasn't really taking into account many of the needs of the individual.

Like it was like if I had the individual need of organic food or I had a desire for that,

it's not really designed for that purpose.

It's only designed to get a baseline like structural need met and I realized in reflecting on that later that's a very
