After the Wolbs win in Indiana on Tuesday evening, a win that did clinch the sixth seed for the Wolves.

It wasn't all that competitive of a game, but the wolves officially will not be in the play-in

and unless somehow Houston loses the rest of their games,

while the wolves win the rest of theirs.

The wolves are going to be the sixth seed this season.

Same spot they were at, a seed they were at a year ago.

Britt, you wrote about this. I got Bert robson from min post here with me just sort of the the reality that this team did not meet

their own regular season expectations right i think i read your column to kind of take it sort

of a step further of this team just is not meeting expectations, period.

Obviously, we don't know what's happened in the postseason yet.

They get the opportunity to play that.

They get the opportunity to prove if they really have a switch or if they could catch some injury luck again as they as they did last season that gave them

some momentum but 79 games into this season this team um with relatively good health outside of

right now is is the sixth seed and that's sort of their um yeah that's what they earned yeah i mean

i don't think anybody could look at all the teams that played this season

and say, well, the wolves deserve to be above one of those other five teams.

It just isn't so.

And as for the playoffs, the talk out of preseason was, you know, we're going to be ready to meet a team like OKC on its own terms.

And the terms of OKC is a team that has established an emblem of consistent, disciplined, dedicated play.
