Thank you so much for tuning into the show hello Hello, we see. How are you? Great. How are you doing? I'm great. I'm good. We're going to talk about something. I saw you post something about this on social and I kind of thought like, oh, that's a joke, right? That's not a real thing. Apparently it's a real thing. We're going to talk about the sugar diet. works, some of the scientific claims and whether they hold up to any scrutiny, and then why perhaps diet trends, extreme diet trends like this, continue to show up and gain popularity despite all of their obvious flaws.

1:09.1

So that's what we're going to talk about today is the sugar diet.

From what I can see on his YouTube content, he's pretty into being lean and showing that off.

1:49.2

And then there's also Cole Robinson.

1:52.0

It's just such a funny way to put what I'm sure it actually is.

1:56.5

Didn't take me very long to get into that.

1:58.5

And then Cole Robinson, who I really don't know much about,

2:01.2

he seems to start every YouTube video with yelling, hey, fatty, and then proceeds to just yell.

2:07.9

At some point, he was also taking borax, the laundry cleaner in his diet. So, especially the latter

2:14.0

two, it was pretty hard to get far into the content.

2:19.2

Definitely spent a little bit more time with Mark Bell's content.

2:23.3

Before getting into kind of the specifics of the sugar diet,

2:25.4

I do also want to point out that, like,

2:27.3

Mark Bell was really into keto carnivore as of like six months ago from what I can tell.

2:31.4

And Cole Robinson used to really promote his snake diet,
