Summary

Savage questions why the Strait of Hormuz remains effectively closed despite the might of U.S. naval and air power. He argues that Iran has spent decades building underground launch sites with large numbers of drones, ballistic missiles, and anti-ship cruise missiles, making U.S. destroyers vulnerable. He then discusses the threats at home from the "Enemy Within" America. He warns about the rise of Islamofascism that he predicted in the early 2000s. He then condemns the SHOCKING rise of antisemitism from the rightwing. He then covers Iran's alleged use of cluster munitions and the possibility of Israel's potential use of the "Samson Option."

Welcome to the Savage Nation. I'm your host Michael Sabbage and I'll be with you this afternoon

and evening. And today's topic is this. Why is, why is, well, why are the straits? Why is the

0:32.2

strait of Hormuz still not passable? If we have the most powerful Navy in the world, people were asking me this all morning,

0:40.5

if we have the most powerful Navy in the world and the most powerful Air Force in the world,

0:45.6

and Iran has no Navy and no Air Force, people were saying, then why is the Strait of Hormuz closed?

0:53.0

And I had a debate all day long on this topic on Twitter and on

0:56.6

other sites. And I think I received an answer that makes sense, which is this. And this came to me,

1:04.8

it looks like a quasi-American government site. I don't know who wrote this, but it makes sense to me.

1:09.7

I don't know if it'll make sense to you. Here it is. Here's what they sent me. They said the Iranians have been preparing

1:15.4

for this war for decades. They have numerous underground facilities with attack drones and boats,

1:22.3

tens of thousands of ballistic missiles and anti-ship cruise missiles. And these facilities are

1:27.3

located under schools,

1:29.3

hospitals, and mosques. That's what they do. Iran is not Iraq. They did not spend billions on

1:35.8

tanks and planes, armies or anything that the U.S. will destroy with bombs. They built 100,000

1:42.3

attack drones and 10,000 ballistic missiles, all hidden underground.

1:47.0

These fire missiles and drones from hidden launch sites.

1:51.0

That's what I received today at the end of the day.

1:54.0

It took me all day to get an answer finally.

1:57.0

That one makes more sense to me than any of why the Strait of Hormuz is closed.

2:03.1

And of course, as you know, our ships are not going through the Strait of Hormuz.
