Summary

What if I told you the resurrection of Jesus isn’t just something we celebrate—it’s everything we stand on? In this episode of The Disciples Journal, I’m breaking down one of the most powerful lines of the gospel creed:“Three days later, He rose from the dead, proving He is the Son of God.” We’ll look at why the resurrection is not just a comeback story—but confirmation that every claim Jesus made was true. I unpack what Scripture says in Romans 1:4 and 1 Corinthians 15:17, and why the resurrection isn’t optional for our faith—it’s foundational. But more than that, I share how the resurrection changes what’s possible for us right now. Because He rose, you don’t have to stay stuck in your guilt, shame, or spiritual death. There’s new life available. Not just someday—today. This is the turning point of history… and the starting point of hope. Let’s walk it out together. Learn more about your ad choices. that we can understand graphs and really begin to dissect and so we've been taking this apart piece by piece each phrase. And today,

we're looking at the significance of Jesus rising from the dead, what that means, why it matters,

creed, again, just so we're on the same page of what we're

We should have died in our place.

1:12.8

Three days later, he rose from the dead, proving he is the son of God and offering the gift of salvation and forgiveness of sins to anyone who repents and believes in him.

And so in this episode, we're going to be breaking down the fact that three days later, he rose from the dead,

1:27.8

proving that he is the son of God.

1:33.3

And this aspect of Jesus's life really answers the question on how do you know Christianity is really true? Because this is an inevitable

1:46.2

question asked by anyone who was really willing to think deeper on the world, its origins, its

1:51.3

meetings. Christianity states that God made the universe, created life on earth, made humans in

his image, and gave them a moral law to be their God. And we are then given the details

through the gospel of how God reached us in Christ. All of this raises the question of how we can know
