Welcome into the next Pat's podcast.

I'm Phil Perry.

We are 10 days away from the Patriots kicking off their regular season for 2022 down in

Miami.

And we've plenty to talk about here.

We have to talk about the 53 man roster, which has been set for now.

It's the initial 53, not the final 53.

They will be sure to tell you that down in Foxborough.

We also have a full practice squad, 16 players on the P squad compliment as of right now.

It's a large, large group, but we can talk about some of those players as well.

And we have our buddy, Matt Castle in to talk about all things audibly.

Wrote a little bit about that earlier this week.

We've been talking about it all week on TV, on the radio as well.

Mack Jones, he will have more power at the line of scrimmage when the regular season

begins.

He didn't have all that much through the summer.

And that's part of the

reason. My understanding is why the offense, part of the reason, why the offense looked the way it

did at times, really for the vast majority of the summer. So how will things look now that the games

mean something? How often can Mac Jones actually change the

plays? And will everybody else be ready for it? These are all topics that we get to with Castle.
