Welcome to Locked On Nuggets. I'm Ryan Blackburn. He's Matt Moore. We are going to discuss

Nicole Yokic and the Denver Nuggets and how they have to make the

regular season easier on today's episode. We'll talk about it through the prism of the conference

finals, which a game seven was played tonight. It was not particularly close, but the final four

teams in the NBA are not the Denver Nuggets.

And we're going to talk about why.

We will also discuss how the Nuggets can make the regular season easier on themselves,

because I think that that matters in this conversation.

Plus, we will get to Nicole Yokic losing the MVP award. But I think a surprising second place finish based off of some of the conversation conversation finishing ahead of Victor Wembeyanama. We'll talk about that in the final segment. Matt, how are you doing on this fine Sunday evening? Were you able to catch tonight's game? Oh, of course. Yeah, not going to miss a game seven. Of course, we're going to catch game seven. Yeah, great.

Had great weekend. Weather was great. Now, of course, it's going to be cold and rainy in Colorado. But excited for the conference finals should be great matchups. Spurs Thunder should be absolutely great cinema that Nuggets fans can hate both teams on. That's always fun. And yeah, I'm excited to talk

more about, I have lots of ideas for shows this week. So I think we're going to have a lot of

content this week. This will be fun. As we continue to turn the page on what was a painful exit

for the Nuggets, I think the conversation can go backwards and go forwards in terms of,

okay, what's happening right now with the teams that are actually there? Why did they get there?

Was this expected? Because I think for New York and Cleveland, it certainly was expected. For OKC,

it was expected. For San Antonio, it wasn't necessarily expected, but they did set themselves out really well by winning 60 games.

So we'll talk about that, especially with the context of the regular season.
