I never feel I can do justice to my daughter in just a few pithy words, you know, it's hard to neatly

summarize her or what she meant to me or to us as a family.

You know, she was my first child. I worried all the time I wouldn't be a good

mother when I was pregnant or I wouldn't I wouldn't love her and she came out and

she was just perfection.

Incredibly kind and bright and joyful and fun and giving the easiest and most temperamentally calm of the four of us, which is a funny thing to say about

her girl that was about to be 14, but she was, she was just like that. You know, she'd sit around

reading her books and she had a beautiful singing voice and she was an

unbelievably original writer. But mostly she was just lovely, lovely person, barely had a bad word to say about anyone.
