But let's begin by talking about quarterback. And I think most of us know the New York Jets are very, very likely to

pick a quarterback in next spring's NFL draft. And if they don't do that, they'll almost

certainly do it a year later in 2027, a year where they will have three first round picks.

Our first question is, John, what do you think about the idea of the Jets potentially trading up

for a quarterback this year. They certainly have the

draft capital to do it and not leave themselves short-handed. A quarterback could transform this

franchise. So I think that a trade-up should almost certainly be off the table. And I think there

are lots of reasons for that. And I know this is going to be a controversial take, but I want to go back to the last

statement.
