Today I'm so excited for our guest. He's coming on to discuss some of the recent craziness surrounding gun control in the United States.

Trevor Boyd is a gun store owner and general manager.

He's also my husband and my personal resident gun expert when it comes to writing about these really hot topics.

Frankly, a lot of people just aren't very well versed in.

So Trevor, welcome to the program.

Hi, thanks for having me.

Let's start off with your background. How did you get into the gun industry?

I originally got into the gun industry. I moved and I went to school there.

While I was there, I ended up getting into gun sales.

I just walked in, applied to one of the bigger, privately owned gun stores in the state of Texas.

I got on there and I spent about three and a half, four years in gun sales.

How did you decide to go out on your own and start a store?

Well, after you're spending about three and a half years in gun sales, the owner of the store I worked for asked me to run his gun range.

So I did that for about a year.
