People who have listened to this podcast for a long time know that we are excited whenever

we have Jim on because aside from his many, many great articles, maybe our favorite of

his articles he did last year and it was called, it was the subject was elite panic. Centering

in that pieces case on on an earthquake in in Alaska where the authorities all went bonkers

scared and refused to provide information and were afraid of scaring people and then an

independent radio broadcaster basically united the community and helped everybody get through

the get through the earthquake and or help to range for for people to do what they needed

to do to get anchorage a right and and this and Jim adduced in this and talked in other

cases about the phenomenon he called elite panic. So I thought it would be an interesting
