Well greetings my friends, patriots, lovers of democracy, truth and justice, believers

and peace, freedom and the American way Tom Hartman here with you.

I have a few things I'd like to rant about if I may use my hosts' privilege to do so and

they may stimulate some thoughts on your part as well and then we'll just we'll get into

it basically.

We've got the whole day to talk here.

I want to start out with cancel culture and I'm going to get to why the Republicans

are doing this in just a minute but first let's talk about what they're doing.

For example, in the third congressional district of Michigan this is up at the Grand Rapids

area.

The area that used to be represented by the guy who said, yeah, let's go ahead and impeach

Trump.

That guy's been replaced by Peter Meyer.

Now I grew up in Michigan, I mean, Meyer's is a big grocery store chain that has become

kind of like a Walmart chain across Michigan.

In fact, I think they've spread across the Midwest and Peter Meyer is from the family that

owns that, a billionaire family.

And he beat in the primary guy named Tom Norton, 50.2 percent to 15.8 percent.

Tom Norton got 15 percent of the vote, lost to Peter Meyer.

Peter Meyer is now the Republican congressman from Michigan's third congressional district.

But Tom Norton's the loser, his website, he's still accepting donations and he is asking,
