for you today. Let me start out by talking a bit about the state of affairs with

Omicron. Omicron is on the decline. It probably started before we knew it was on

the decline. It's not on the decline everywhere. The full effects won't be felt for a

little while and everyone wants to know what comes next. It's got me thinking a

little bit about what our perceptions are and what normal should be and what

should happen next. There's a few people who are out there writing and saying

things like the pandemic's over. The risks are down. We're in the dynamic stage

back to life, etc. Everybody's got an opinion and I suppose everybody's tired.

It reminded me of something that I heard when I talked to this guy named Baruch

Fishoff, early on in the pandemic. He's kind of a pandemic sociologist. The fact
