The matchup preview, you all have been waiting for us here at DNVR Avalanche, are very excited

to get into the avalanche matchup against the Los Angeles Kings, officially decided at the last minute,

game 82. It took a long time to get there. But it's all decided. The best team in the league facing the second wildcard in the West and gearing up to be kind of a fun one.

Not if the Kings have their way. I think it's going to be really boring if they want things to work out in their favor.

Fun for us. I do think it will be fun. I don't think the kings are going to have their way at all.

Yeah. We'll see. We'll see. That's very encouraging. Well, that's what playoff hockey is.

You know, you can prepare in a seven game series, it's not just a regular season pre scout where you go okay well

here's a little bit of what they like to do and here's a little bit and then we're going to try

and take one or two of these things away it's about all right game one that is how you will approach

it and then game two you'll go okay this is what they did to us that worked and so we're going to

drill down and then game three and four drill down and drill down and just keep going until hopefully you've got to figure it out.

And then it just becomes a case of execution and no longer are they going to be able to continue to do this to us or not.

Yeah.

I think it's going to be a really hard time for the Kings because they don't have the

personnel to look at Colorado's lineup and say, all right, day one, game one, like,

very first thing that we're going to do, we're going to look at the Nathan McKinnon

line and we're going to go, let's take this away.

They don't have that personnel.

Yeah. They don't have that matchup in the back. Yeah. So they're sort of at Colorado's mercy here of, all right, what does Colorado want to do? And then go from there. And I do want to deep dive into some of those matchups. But leading into that, I think the head-to-head from this regular season is very telling of that.

Colorado swept them in the regular season series.
