My friend Susan Gonzalez spent years of big companies like Comcast and Facebook advocating for underserved communities.

Now she's bringing her more than 20 years of experience in tech and engagement to AI

and you, a nonprofit working to engage and educate marginalized communities about artificial

intelligence and new technologies.

Susan's also a member of the committee advising President Biden on the National AI Initiative.

Here's a thing, though.

Susan is coming to this work,

work she feels is critical

following a period of personal crisis,

a breast cancer diagnosis,

and the loss of both of her parents.
