My friend, Sudan is facing what is arguably one of the largest humanitarian crises in the entire world.

When we talk about this, a common question that this channel could probably address is

what is the worst time in place to be alive as a person?

And while over the course of this channel's history, we have covered a number of things

that could be pretty heavy candidates for this very terrible short list.

Most of the things that we have talked about had at least gotten some degree of publicity and press coverage,

at least enough that it actually fit the size of the conflict or disaster that we were talking about.

People knew about Somalia as it was happening.

Average Westerners heard about the ethnic cleansing those involved in Bosnia and Rwanda.

But the story that I'm going to be telling you all here today is one that continues to go largely underreported by Western media.

It is something that people simply are not aware of.

It is something that very may well be the largest humanitarian crisis of the current decade.

This country has had 17 attempted coups.

Seven of these coups were successful and four civil wars. And yet what we are seeing right now

may be the worst suffering this country has ever seen. What I am referring to is the ongoing
