The Pittsburgh Steelers may seem stubborn for not starting Kenny Pickett over Mitch Trubisky, but there's a good amount of reasons for Mike Tomlin letting his rookie quarterback grow on the bench. Much of that comes from giving the future franchise quarterback a better foundation to start from with an offense that has some rhythm for him to rely upon in the NFL. But clearly, the Steelers' offense doesn't have that yet. So what must that offense's identity be? Chris Carter and Josh Taylor explain that a strong running game must be part of it, but a balance to the offense must exist to help the Steelers' offensive line and Najee Harris. To do that, the Steelers need to make sure Pat Freiermuth is more involved in the offense. That will require Matt Canada getting Mitch Trubisky to see through defenses.
