Hey everyone, it's Kristen Hawkins. Welcome to the first episode of my new podcast, explicitly pro-life.

I'm so excited that we're finally debuting this podcast because there's so much we have to talk about.

And there's so many things we have to discuss. And so I hope you're going to start tuning into the podcast.

We're going to go over latest news within the

pro-life movement, what we're seeing nationally in Washington, D.C., and states across the country.

And we're also, I'm hopeful that when you and I discuss these things, and we know what's coming

up, that I'm able to give you some marching orders. So you know how to go

back to your community, back to your states, and how to take action to save lives and help us

accomplish our mission of abolishing abortion in our lifetime. So today I want to talk about what's been going on in states across the country.

I know often when we talk about the pro-life movement and we in the pro-life movement focuses

our attention, we tend to focus our attention and all, we send our money and our efforts

always to Washington, D.C., to what's going on within the United States Capitol, right?

What's being passed to the House of Representatives, or in our case right now, not passed in the House of Representatives, you know, what the President's doing.

But what you may not know is that most of the life-saving measures we've seen pass in states across our country

are coming from states. It's actually happening within the state legislature. That's where we're

seeing the most life-saving measures passed, the most measures being passed to protect women from

the predatory abortion industry.

So today we're going to dive into that a little bit.

We're going to talk about what's going on in states across the country, things that I know

that are going on just with our work with students for life and where the pro-life generation

has been active.
