I have been wanting to do a deep dive into cancer for a while now.

And then at the beginning of this year, the Wall Street Journal reported that the

cancer diagnosis rate for people under the age of 50 increased by 12.8% between 2000 and 2019.

The American Cancer Society also published a similar study

saying that while overall cancer mortality

has declined, which is incredible and very hopeful news to keep in mind.

An increase in some cancers have rapidly shifted mortality patterns in adults under 50.

Early onset colorectal, pancreatic, appendix, stomach, and uterine cancers are all on the rise.

In 2019, one in five new patients with colorectal cancer were under the age of 55. These are scary
