Can I ask a question? Why were you there so long? If it wasn't nourishing, if it was beyond

uncomfortable, and not even the type of uncomfort that you knew you were growing, it's actually

the type where you felt stagnant, you felt paralyzed. Why were you there so long? Maybe the question of the

decade of the year. Is this a habit? Do we allow things to go on longer than

they should? Do we wait for things to erupt before we make a move? Or do we move when we know it's time?

Why were you there so long? In that dynamic, they weren't there for you. They never showed up for you.

They used you. They took advantage of your nature. Why were you there so long?

At that job, they didn't recognize your value, your skills, in fact, they took advantage of that too.

Better opportunities were right around the corner, but you didn't think of yourself. Why are you there

so long? An important question. You know, sometimes we develop these habits where we become so

resilient, we will put up with almost anything for extended periods of time. Now there is a beauty to it.

We're probably being optimistic. You know, our heart is in the best place. We see the best in things,

the best in people. We're kind of naive, maybe a little bit too

innocent at times. And we think if we're just a little more patient, if we have a little more

grace, it will get better. Things will get better. Or we believe we are equipped with the tools to go through that storm or any storm.

I mean, rather not bother anybody.

So we please people, we people please, we sacrifice.

We're always the one to do this.

Why? For how long?
