Welcome to another episode of The Chicks on the Right podcast. Very excited today to have the host of D programmed with Carrie Smith with us. She is a former self-described former social justice warrior. We have been mutual follows on X for like forever now. And of course, we share a lot of the same concerns about the cult of Candace Owens,

which we'll get to her in a minute. But first we want to know because one of the reasons that

we were super interested in having you on is just your own experience deprogramming from

wokeness. So we want to hear about that. And then we'll get into some of the current cults that need

deprogramming. So tell us your story first. Yes. Well, first of all, thank you for having me on,

ladies. I have, I just wanted to say, this new media landscape has been changing. I'm sure you

guys have noticed in the past year. Everybody's looking for new shows. People have sworn off shows

they used to watch.

Like, I can't watch Megan anymore just personally. And so your show is the number one show that

everyone I know is talking about. I'm very excited to be here. It only took us 17 years.

That's great. Thank you, Carrie. Yeah, my story is, it's a long story.

The short, and I've told it several times if people want the long version, the trigonometry

episode is probably good, but the short version is I started waking up around the same time

that like maybe the first wave of people did in 2016.

For me personally, it was, I didn't know other people were going through this.

I didn't realize I was in a cult.

I thought I was just in liberalism, ladies.

And yeah, I picked it up in college and I took it into my career. I worked in entertainment

and I managed comedians. I produced television shows with those comedians. I produced a late night

show called Totally Bias. That was totally woke. It was the first woke late night show.

And I really thought, like I was one of the true believers.

Like I thought this is, we're ending racism and sexism with comedy.
