And we're talking specifically draft here today on NextPaths because I know that's

where a lot of you are directing your focus at this very moment.

And so what does Mike think the Patriots should do if they have a top five pick?

It's looking like they're having a top five pick.

What if they have the number one overall pick? Do they go with the shiny toy? Do they go with the

receiver, Travis Hunter? Or do they try to trade down? Maybe get the left tackle. Will Campbell?

And is Will Campbell even a left tackle? Is Travis Hunter even a receiver?

We're taking a big picture. Five thousand000-foot view of the NFL draft,

and the talent really strewn throughout the draft. You're going to be surprised to hear,

and maybe not in a good way, how Mike feels about the draft overall. It's not great people.

But that's where you make your money if you're a scout.

And that's what puts the pressure on guys like Elliot Wolf and Matt Groh

to make the most of these high-end picks that they're about to have.

Top of the first round, top of the second round, top of the third round,

you've got to find players.

And in a draft that doesn't look like it's the deepest, that might be tough.

That's why you make the big bucks.

That's why you're in the positions you're in.
