Summary

For those that are new around here, I release bonus episodes that serve a niche part of my audience, I have listeners of all faith backgrounds that listen to the podcast. This episode is coming from a christian perspective so if that’s something that doesn’t fit what you’re looking for, check out the other episode that dropped this week or join me back here next Tuesday for a conversation that you don’t want to miss!

----------------------------------------

Today, I’m joined by Rachel Myers, co-founder of She Reads Truth, to talk about the inspiration behind her new book, The Bible Is for You. For many of us, no matter how much we want to read Scripture regularly, it can still feel like a challenge. My hope is that this conversation will encourage, inspire, and equip you to make time in God’s Word a greater priority in your life.

and really does in a very inviting, disarming way, tells stories, draw connections, and gives them

the most beautiful arms wide open introduction into God's word. I want it to not be a should. I want it to be a could. I want it to be an invitation.

This is Diane Bowden, and you're listening to the Minimalist Moms podcast. Today, I sit down with

1:02.7

Rachel Myers, co-founder of She Reads Truth, to explore the inspiration behind the new book

1:07.6

the Bible is for you. Despite our best efforts or even innate desire to get into

scripture on a regular basis, it is a challenge for so many of us. And my hope is that this

1:17.3

conversation will empower you, inspire you, encourage you to make Bible reading more of a priority

in your life. But before we get there, if you have yet to leave a rating and review for the

minimalist moms podcast and have been enjoying the content, I ask you just to pause for a brief moment, hit five stars, tell me your favorite episode, your favorite guest. This is the best way to help the podcast continue to succeed and grow. And as I always say, it doesn't go and notice that you could be listening to so many podcasts and that you continue to listen to the minimalist moms. So thank you, thank you for all the support.

And with that, let's get into this conversation with Rachel.

1:57.0

So it's so funny with your book, it is just super beautiful. I love the painting on the front.

2:21.3

But my husband saw it sitting on the couch. And he's like, oh, no, what happened to your book? Did George get the binding? George is our great Pyrenees. He's like, what happened? And I was like, no, I think this was really intentional.
