He's the author of the Inclusive Economy and also the author of a new paper that we

are going to dig into today, Michael.

Well, I have a pleasure to be with you.

Now tell us about, I've read the paper, but tell the audience a little bit about this

latest paper that you worked on if you could distill the central argument that you're

making.

That would be awesome.

Sure.

The paper looks at the question that we're facing today of reparations for African-Americans.

And I think that it basically makes the point that you can't deny the downstream impact

of slavery and Jim Crow and ongoing inequalities in the economic system that this put African-Americans

at this disadvantage.

So the moral claim that African-Americans make reparations is probably something that

shouldn't just be waved away, there's something that we should pay serious attention to.
