| 0:00.0 | All right, welcome back to The Man Talk Show. I'm Connor Beaton. Today, we're going to be diving into |
| 0:12.8 | why it is so damn hard to quit weed and a proven process that can support you in letting |
| 0:20.2 | go of it if you are ready. Now, this is real for me. |
| 0:23.7 | I definitely struggled with smoking weed and, well, not struggling with smoking weed. I didn't have |
| 0:28.8 | a problem smoking it. I had a problem not smoking it anymore years and years and years ago. |
| 0:34.5 | And one of the things that I've found to be quite common for a lot of guys is that |
| 0:38.9 | weed can become something that you really struggle to let go of. And there is some very real |
| 0:45.5 | reasons for that. So first, I'm going to give you the breakdown of why it is so hard to quit. |

| 1:24.5 | vape THC, on a regular basis, your brain's CB1 receptors get flooded. |
| 1:32.6 | And these receptors normally help you to regulate things like your mood, your memory, |
| 1:39.0 | your emotions, your reward system, your appetite. |
| 1:43.5 | So this is a very, very important function within the brain. |
| 1:48.2 | And over time, your brain starts to downregulate them. |
| 1:53.0 | It basically turns the volume down on your natural internal system of being able to regulate through the CB1 receptors and becomes more |
| 2:04.3 | reliant on the THC, on the weed to basically downregulate or use those receptors. And when that |
| 2:15.9 | happens is because the THC and the cannabinoids that are in the |
