0:00.0	All right, good evening, and welcome to our midweek Bible study on Thursday nights. We're going
0:04.4	verse by verse through the Bible. We're in this amazing book of Isaiah, actually nearing the end.
0:11.6	Tonight, just one chapter, chapter 58. We left off in chapter 57 last week. So also tonight at the
0:19.3	conclusion of the Bible study, we're going to partate together
0:21.5	of the communion table. So we'd encourage those of you that are joining with us online to at this
0:27.2	time have the elements ready so you can partake with us at the end. So with that, why don't we
0:33.5	begin with a word of prayer? And we'll ask God to bless our time together in His
0:38.2	word tonight, if you would please join with me. Loving Father in heaven, thank you so much.
0:46.6	Lord, this Thursday night Bible study for us is really the highlight of our week.
0:56.8	It's that one night where we can just put all the busyness of our lives aside and come
1:02.8	together and fellowship together and worship and open up our Bibles and just get into your word and have your word get into us
1:14.7	as you speak into our lives. Lord, it's with a great anticipation that we look forward to what
1:21.8	it is that you have for us tonight. We also so look forward to the celebration of the communion table, which we do on the
1:31.0	first Thursday of each month. And Lord, we're just looking forward to that as well. When it's all said
1:37.5	and done tonight, Lord, we want you to be glorified in our midst. We want you to be magnified. We want the name of Jesus to be lifted up,
1:48.2	the name above all names. Lord also, I know that many will come to a Bible study like this
1:56.2	or watch online that are just really struggling and hurting and weary. And Lord, thank you that you lift
2:05.9	up the weary. Thank you that you're close to the brokenhearted. Thank you that in the
2:12.9	power of the Holy Spirit you strengthen and encourage our hearts. Thank you that your word has that
2:19.9	much needed effect on our lives as well. Lord, really, that's why we're here tonight. We're here
2:27.4	because we're hungry and thirsty for you knowing that only you can satiate that hunger and that thirst that we have.
