Save the date of Thursday, August the 18th. Now, in lieu of our study through Jeremiah,

which we have on Thursday nights, we're going to have a testimony night, powerful testimony

of the power of parents praying for a prodigal.

Actually, it is really looking forward to this.

It's a week from this Thursday on the 18th.

And we're going to have mom, dad, and Gabriel up here.

And they're going to share this powerful testimony about never giving up on a wayward daughter or a prodigal son because he came out of the

LGBTQ lifestyle. Yeah. So that's going to be Thursday night, the 18th. That will be live stream.

And here's the thing, by the way. We usually start the teaching at 7.30, the worship at 7.

We're going to get started right at 7. So right at 7 o'clock, it will be live streamed.

And for those of you on YouTube and Facebook, you can actually begin watching at 7 p.m. on Thursday night. We're going to take the better part

of an hour and a half. We're going to need all of that. In fact, we'll probably get you home about

midnight. No. But anyway, really looking forward to that as well, very excited about what God is

doing. And key point, God is doing it. So there's no mistake about that.

All right, James, chapter 5, almost done with this epistle. Not quite, though. So our text is

verses 13 through 18 in chapter 5. I'll ask those of you that are able to stand. You can follow along

as I read. If not, where you're seated, it's just fine. So we're going to pick it up. Wait,

what happened here? We're going to pick it up in verse 13. James by the Holy Spirit is writing and says, is anyone among

you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick?

Let them call for the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil

in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick

person well. The Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.
