Hey guys, it's Miller. Thanks for tuning in to this week's episode of the Uproom Dallas podcast.

I continue my series on the Holy Spirit and specifically look at 1 Corinthians 14 verse 2.

And it talks about your spirit speaking in a tongue to God.

And I want to demystify, simplify, bring understanding and

scripture to praying in tongues. If you were like me growing up, this is the one thing I wanted

nothing to do with. I didn't understand it. I thought people that did it were weird. It was so taboo. And I don't know,

though, of a subject that has actually impacted my spiritual walk with Jesus more increased my

prayer life. And so my hope is to hopefully give those that don't have understanding,

understanding, and then those that do use and practice this, that you'll do

it exponentially more. I think it's crucial in the days ahead that we as individuals build ourselves up

in the Holy Spirit by praying in tongues. So buckle up, get your Bibles out. I'll be students of the

word with me. And let's see what God has to say about this incredible topic.

So tonight I want to share something that I've been doing really for the past three days.

And it's something I do regularly.

And it's something I didn't understand when I first heard this topic mentioned, and yet now it's

something that is as crucial to me as anything I do to engage with the Lord.

And we've been in a series around the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is sent to help us.

It's sent to help you every day in every way. And the Holy Ghost is

present. And one of the things the Holy Spirit does is he helps us pray. He helps us connect to the

Father. And he teaches us to pray. He teaches us to commune with the Lord. He teaches us to read

scripture.

We are so dependent on the Holy Spirit.
