We're here today with our friend Dr. Paul Chamberlain, who is director of the Institute

for Christian Apologetics at Trinity Western University in Canada.

He also has a long time background with

Ravi Zakaraias Ministries in Canada, but the reason we wanted Paul to be with

us today is because of his new book that's just come out. Very provocative title

and very relevant to where culture is today. It's entitled

why people stop believing. Paul, let me ask you this question. Before we get to the

reason why people abandon their faith, can you briefly

tell us your story? Why did you come to believe and have faith in the first place?

Well, that's nice to be on with you, a gentleman, Scott and Sean, appreciate this a lot.

Listen, I have really a great story. I mean I was raised in a home with two

wonderful parents. Both loved Jesus very much and were very consistent in the way they lived

it out. It was really a great home.

We had a lot of fun. My parents were, could be, my dad could be stirring at times, but he had a good sense of humor

as well. We did a lot of fun things together. And as I got to be a little older, I heard the Christian, and I saw the Christian

faith lived out in a very consistent, wonderful way, and I always hoped it was true.

I loved the message to tell you the truth, even though I had a few years in there when I turned away from it.
